Textile designing also known as textile geometry; this is the technical and creative process. This Textile Designing process is on thread or yarn fibers and woven together or knit to form a flexible, functional. To decorate fabric or cloth, this is printed on it for adorning.

Textile designing is divided into three major categories (1) Printed Textiles Design (2) Woven Textile Designing and (3) Mixed Media Textile Designing. All the tree methods for producing ornamented fabric are different from each other.  

Textile design is further broken down into three major disciplines, printed textile design, woven textile design, and mixed media textile design, each of which use different methods to produce a surface ornamented fabric for variable uses and markets.

Textile Design has been evolved as industry integral disciplines known such as fashion, interior design, and fine arts.
